Uninsured Services

Certain services are not covered by MSP, and must be paid for by the patient. You may be able to claim these costs on your taxes or with your third-party insurance.

Please note that the list below is NOT exhaustive. If you have a question about a service not on this list, please inquire with our office directly. Additionally, the final amount charged is a decision made by your doctor and may include GST.

We are implementing fee increases effective July 1, 2024, as our fees have been unchanged for over five years. Our fees are based on a fee schedule laid out by the Doctors of BC and Society of General Practitioners (click here for suggested pricing). In nearly all cases we charge significantly less than the suggested rates.

PROCEDURES
Liquid nitrogen $50 for up to 3 lesions, additional lesions charged at doctor’s discretion
MSP only covers liquid nitrogen treatments in adults for genital and plantar warts or symptomatic lesions
MSP does cover liquid nitrogen for most lesions for children under 16 (including cosmetic)

Cosmetic excision, non-facial $160 — plus addtional tray fee for equipment
Cosmetic excision, facial $220 — plus addtional tray fee for equipment
