Labwork During the Pandemic

Pathology labs are once again providing regular service with some exceptions.

These are typically related to procedures that may generate aerosolized particles such as urea breath testing for H. pylori for instance.

Should a test not be currently available you will most likely be offered the opportunity to complete the test in the near future as safety considerations allow without you requiring a new requisition.

If you have been deferring getting your regular lab investigations done up, now is a great time to bring your labs up to date.

A helpful note is that Lifelabs now offers the option to pre-book appointments, or check in to the lab remotely (so you can wait someplace other than the lab) on their website, www.lifelabs.com.
