At about 14 weeks, register online with our Best Beginnings public health program.



Third Trimester Information

  • The start of labour can be signaled by water breaking or fluid leaking, regular painful contractions, vaginal bleeding. Please call the maternity ward at 604-514-6034.

  • At 28 weeks it is recommended to start monitoring your baby’s wellbeing by doing fetal kick counts. Review this website for instructions on kick counts, or read our third trimester package linked below.
